New Home
I have set up a new home for my artwork on RedBubble. Visit me here. I have cards and prints available for some works, and hopefully that list will grow. Go over to see my new finish, Dear Prudence.
Peace.

I started Dear Prudence. I have made progress since the above photo was taken.
I never used to paint like this: in stages. I was always one to finish a piece in one sitting, but I think I have learned a smidge about patience.
This is a fun piece to work on. I am trying to use vibrant colors and keep the ideas simple.
More to come.
Lest you think all of my artistic ambition has dried up:
I painted this outside of the Apple Blossom Cottage in Rhinebeck, NY back in October. It was a beautiful little cottage surround by gorgeous vibrant trees. I was so happy to have brought my paints.
Instead of hand stamping Christmas cards this year I painted over 60 individual 2X3 panels. I loved every minute of it; so much so that I am considering making a slew of cards to sell if anyone is interested. This exercise reignited my love of watercolors.
And finally:
In the fall we got some new bedding at IKEA and it inspired this for the bedroom.
Here is a different view:
I like it. It doesn't look quite that bright without the insane flash from this camera.
Moving on...I have been engrossed in work and had pretty low energy, thus the lack of painting. Visit my friend's brother-in-law's site inspired me though. I will make time to paint this weekend. Earlier this week I was flipping through my old sketch book and found some sketches that were never brought to life on canvas. I'd like to try my hand at a few of them.
It does make me wish we had more space; a dedicated art space would help.
No more excuses.
Painting feeds me, inspires me, and helps me to express things for for there are no words.
Peace.
