  • Yarn: Socks That Rock, Medium weight in Garnet Dreams
  • Yarn Source: The Fold, MS&W 2006

More specifics: I used the 84 stitch version of the pattern. They are slightly loose above and below the ankle but the heel is snug. My first pair are the same way.

I'm very surprised how well these socks match. You never know with the hand-dyed yarn but these worked out just right.

I plan to cast on for a simple pair of picot-edged socks in Trekking today. I love new sock yarn!

I tried to knit this pattern with some Opal and the striping got all muddled. Yours look great. I wonder what I should be looking for in the yarn to make sure the stripes show? This look great.

wow you're right, it's amazing how well they match up!

does that mean you're totally done with maryland yarn?

Your JWs are lovely! Thank you, thank you for coming up and saying hello at Rhinebeck! It was a joy to meet both you and Jody. The whole weekend was overwhelming and I'm having trouble with reentry. My body clock craves eastern time;-)

These look great! I dig the stripes ;)
